Meet Our Family

Ken Jackson, Owner

Since 1968 Ken Jackson has been a pillar of the Chapel Hill community and an avid Tarheel fan. As a longtime jeweler, Ken is well versed in the ins and outs of the high-end jewelery business. He has been able to pursue his passion as owner and operator of Wentworth & Sloan since acquiring it from his former employer, Mr. Richmond Sloan, in 1972.

Craig Jackson

Growing up in a jewelry store, Craig was inspired to continue the family tradition by becoming a third-generation jeweler. He began by helping with everything from polishing silver to wrapping presents, and then moved to more complex tasks such as watch repair. He has since become an accomplished jeweler, earning GIA certificates in diamond grading, gem identification, and colored-stone grading.

Eduardo, Head Watchmaker

Eduardo brings a unique perspective to the Chapel Hill jewelry business due to his diverse training experience and travels. He began working on watches at age 17 as an apprentice for La Jolla, El Salvador's most prestigious jewelry chain. He was soon promoted to a management position, supervising 15 watchmakers. This experience afforded him extensive training, including working with Rolex in Mexico City. Then around 1994, Ken Jackson was able to recruit Eduardo to work with the Wentworth & Sloan family in Chapel Hill.
